Accessible Outings
Many of our accessible outings take place at Fort Tryon Park, due to their well-paved paths with low fences and walls. Photo: Sean Jamar/City Parks Foundation
NYC Bird Alliance’s accessible outings are designed to welcome everyone. In parks with well-paved paths for all physical abilities and with innovative aids such as bird plushies for the visually impaired or blind, our accessible outings ensure all New Yorkers can experience the magic of birds and birding.
Want to learn more? Bird guide Alexandra Wang gives a sneak peak into her accessible outings in our Urban Bird Call magazine. Read the article here.
